The first phot I'd like to share is the view from the street:

And another of my flowerbed:

It isn't exactly filled with flowers this year. The large green plants are butternut squash, and the tall white flowers are Queen Anne's Lace.
Turning back to the house, the monstrous pumpkin plant is visible. A volunteer, I might add, continually threatening to swallow the sidewalk and house:

As you walk up the driveway, dill weed dominates. I was hoping to attract swallowtail butterflies this year, but so far the only insects visiting are flies.

Continuing on, is the main vegetable spot. Zucchini and cucumbers are here, as well as broomcorn and a few flowers that the rabbits didn't eat. A few cannas as well.

Oh, look! Our host, Noah, has finally arrived.

In this next photo you can see the encroaching plant life that necessitates constant trimming.

A close up of the veggies--they are actually much fuller than this now. This is after a heavy rainstorm. You can see the broomcorn in the back.

The view from the front porch: (obviously trimmed). The taller plants by the garage are Love Lies Bleeding. They have just begun to bloom this week.

Some naughty Japanese beetles having fun in the broomcorn:

Oh dear. Noah has decided the tour must come to an end. Too bad.

I hope you've enjoyed this short tour of my front yard garden.
