Angel's Author's Cafe will be rewarding random acts of kindness with a free meal... Just leave a comment about the act of kindness and enjoy a free meal.... It can be an act of kindness that you committed or one you heard about.
In this age of gloom and doom, we need more kindness in the world. Ghandi said that we must be what we want the world to become. I want the world to become kind..... I am trying every day to commit as much kindness as possible... I smile and greet all people with a pleasant greeting.... All the toll booth operaters now know me and bright up when they see my car... they all have something kind to say to me also. They smile and are happy for a moment... not easy since they have all lost their jobs and will be replaced by the end of the year by some sort of electronics... I shall miss them.
I smile and am pleasant with people in line... and with the cashier. I hold open the door for folks and wave them into line ahead of me when I am driving. I look for ways to be kind to people.
So come enjoy a free meal on the house for your story of any random act of kindness.... you may order off the menu, choose the buffet, or order any meal you can imagine... just leave your request in the comment with your story of kindness and chef will get right on it....
The American bison has been very good lately. I highly recommend it.... A nice steak and a Maine lobster makes surf and turf that is hard to beat....
The veggies of course are in season and are magificent... The artichokes and avocadoes are particularly succulent and make a wonderful cold salad with a bit of Alaskan King Crab or Gulf Shrimp....
And the fresh raspberries are beyond compare....
Enjoy,
Angel

I saw one lady having trouble maneuvering her sister inside, so I helped guide the wheel inside and sent them on their way.
I see other patrons and I open the door for them, or move to the side so they can get through.
Last week I even gave up the opportunity to speak with my mamaw, who I haven't seen in months at the grocery store, just so another lady could get in line before me, because she had less items than me.
I just can't sit by and watch these things and do nothing.
I was raised to be polite and help others.
I would love some lobster mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......and raspberries sound delicious~
Have a good night,
Karen

They had to use a special crane.
I'd love some bison too.

I'd like this opportunity to "rat out" a small but sweet thing my youngest daughter did. We were heading into the local grocery store. They keep their shopping carts corralled outside of the front doors. As we were approaching, a woman was coming from another direction toward the carts, rifling through her purse and looking a little harried. Just as my teenage daughter was about to pull out a cart for us, she noticed the woman, pulled out a cart and offered it to her. The woman looked shocked and surprised for an instant, then smiled broadly and said, "Thank you so much. That's the nicest thing anyone's done for me all day!" She and my daughter both shared a laugh. As my daughter came back to me with a cart of our own, I gave her an approving smile and told her, "Good job". She looked a little sheepish, but her face glowed with the good deed she had done. I realize it's a small thing, but she accomplished it on her own with no prompting from a grown up and I think she experienced for the first time how good doing something nice can be.

Please give my 'free meal' to someone who hasn't eaten in days.
Thanks
Also I try to smile and speak to those I pass happiness is contagious and a smiling face can make the difference in someones day!
I'm going to have my free meal to go--I know a lady down the road who could use one.
Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving.
Wishing you all a wonderful magical thankful Thanksgiving holiday
