Anyone ever been to Atlantic City?

I'm planning a trip to Atlantic City, 4-6 women. I've never planned a trip like this and the prices are little steep, does anyone have any suggestions for a great place to stay that wont charge us everytime we sneeze? I've even been looking for coupon codes. We would like to go in September, preferably the 18-21st.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Midweek is the only time you can find a deal in AC, forget about weekends.

If you want cheap, try Las Vegas.

Vegas is much cheaper than AC. I go to AC about once a month, and I never stay over, you cannot find any decent deals on the weekends, and if you want to pay under $150, you must stay at a motel outside of town on Route 30 or Route 40.
