This is the fifth time I am trying to post this small photo essay. Gather please get this glitch fixed. It is rather annoying to say the least.
I received my flag today from one of the contest that was being ran here on Gather. I thought I would tell everyone and show it off. I am proud to receive the American flag. If you look in the second picture you will notice how much prettier the colors stand out on the flag. How boldly the colors flow.
I did take this time to educate and quiz my children on the importance of the flag and how we should be proud to fly the American flag. I explain of what the flag means to me and what it represents to the American people.
Did you happen to notice how my kids were holding the flag up to keep it from reaching the ground? I think they are catching on pretty well.
Please don't pay any attention to how high the grass is. The lawn mower is broke again.

Nice flag
Last night my husband was showing my 9 yr old son how to actually fold a flag the right way. I should have gotten pictures of that. But I didn't think about it. That will be another time. I am always looking for some way to teach my kids something.
