Anyway, I told him next time we went shoppong for groceries we'd buy him muffin pizzas. In that time Gideon's really developed a love of cooking. Naturally he can't do anything that involves the griddle, stove, etc, but he can mix the ingredients together.
Things like muffin pizzas are great for him, too. He can do every step himself!
So, once we got home with our food bounty Gideon asked the question. "Can we make muffin pizzas?"
I looked and he already had the cheese, pepperoni and sauce out and ready. I said sure and began telling them what he needed to do to make them.
Just a few minutes later this is what he had made:

They turned out so good, however Gideon ate hlaf of one and said YUCK! He didn't like that the sauce was under cheese. I guess he said that playgroup had it on TOP of the cheese.

We'll make them again... next time with the sauce on top of the cheese. :)

Next time I want to try to get photos of him as he cooks. I wasn't thinking about that when he made these ones. :(

Great idea indeed . . . I think I'll try this.
Your Friend,
Rene
Indeed Sarah, it is.
It looked fun Meredith, but I left the fun for him to do.
Thanks Bhawana
They were Jessie!
Richard I FIRMLY believe in encouraging him. He's been BEGGING to cook, who in their right mind would deny a child such a great experience and skill he'll need later in life?
Gideon's at that age where he loves that too, J.r.
I admit I got the idea from playgroup, Marianne but they are delish!
I forgot about them too Susan. All this time Gideon wanted to make something and I could have gotten this, lol.
They are just simple as simple can be, Rene. :) Taste great too... I sampled them LOL.
Tell Gideon he did a awesome job :))
