July Sunsets Repost for summerpics

The last few nights have produced some beautiful sunsets here in Myrtle Beach, SC.  We have had two very hot days following these sunsets.  I believe that saying about a red sunset being a sailor's delight.  It was certainly true in this case.  Rather than post them individually I thought I'd share them all together.

July 19th, 2008

 

July 21, 2008 sunset

Tonight the sun is bright red also so it looks like a hot day again tomorrow!

July 22, 2008 sunset

 

The sun sets really fast but it is so beautiful to see.  I look forward to these views every night.

How beautiful, most of my views are blocked by houses, trees and wires so I have to wait for a certain time of year. Someday I'm going to afford a decent camera to shoot the stars.

Thanks Layla. We just love it. It is beautiful here, a little hot right now but it's so worth it when you look out the windows and there is beauty all around, not the wall of the building next door.

Beautiful hues caught in the sunset, which is really rare. In South India we have this saying that this hue means its a good time for fishing....one gets a good catch...

Which camera do you use Nana ?
