Do you listen to music?

I am listening to a hard rock group right now known as 'Warlock'. The band has a lady singer who used to be compared with 'Lita Ford' back in the 80's. I tend to listen to music from the 80's. But do listen to other era's as well. I prefer rock music. But listen to country, rap and hop hop as well. Basically any kind of music that does not put me to sleep but makes me want to get up and dance.  I don't dance anymore due to my leg injury. But that doesn't stop me from be boppin in my seat. My kids crazy think I am crazy and get a good laugh.  But it makes it all worth it to a smile on their face.

Let me elaborate a little more on that question in the title. Do you listen to music while gathering? If so what do you usually listen to? Or prefer?

I've got music from Lita Ford. She's pretty good! I'm not big on country but enjoyed the era of country rock. I like Delta blues and bluegrass but mostly listen to rock and oldies stations. My 21 year old son likes to find music in genres I'm not used to that I may like and I think he has my taste down pretty good. There are some hip hop, metal and techno groups I like. Just never liked the "f" word in my music, nor scream-o. If the music sounds like someone is dying in the other room, I guess I just don't want to hear it!

I love music, and if I don't have the TV on while i'm gathering, then I have on some kind of music..usually country...if not that then it's 80's songs or classic rock. I can listen to about anything though, EXCEPT rap. I hate rap.

I don't listen while Gathering as I usually have the TV on for background. Typically Gideon has Noggin on while I'm Gathering.

My favorite is Japanese pop music, but I like and listen to 70's classics, Boston, Def Leppard, even a bit of country songs, (depending on the song, no particular group or singer), and even some classical music I enjoy.

Sometimes I listen while Gathering and sometimes not. It depends on what movie Turner Classic is playing:)

I listen to all types though depending on my mood.

I don't listen to music very often anymore. If I do, I have it on quiet, so I can still hear the baby monitor loud and clear. When Elliott is up, and we're downstairs, he's usually in control of the TV. So we watch Bob the Builder, the Wiggles, or a Kidsong DVD most of the time.

When I have music going, it's usually some kind of dance/club beat. I remember a gal singer from back in the day. She did some work with David T. Chastain for awhile and had at least a couple releases on her own...Doro Pesch from Germany. I always thought she was better than Lita.

It depends. While on my 'puter, I usually listen to WCPT-820am or Air America.
When it comes to music, my favorite new CD is by Annie lennox. Others that I have in my car(I have a 6-Cd loader) include Suzanne Vega, K.T. Tunstall, Tori Amos, Pink, Sly and the Family Stone covers, Stevie Nicks. I also throw in Natalie Mac Master, Sarah Mac Laughlin, U2, Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones on occasion.
