Maybe an idea is to back it up on a word processor after the upgrades. I'm just saying. I know I've learned my lesson.

I did that with a recent article, and it really saved me a great deal of re-work. You feel like you want to cry, don't you Jean?

You know what I noticed, Tinch? The ads along the right margin are WIDER thus making the "full size" photo from the pop-up automatically center because the overall width of the article space is NARROWER! (Hmmmmm... I guess Gather gets a few buckerooneys MORE now for ads... That's my best guess anyway...) :^s

I feel your pain - I hate it when everything disappears.

I just copy it everything to the clipboard - it remembers - then I copy it to a word program. Most of the time I don't need the word program copy - but I have forgotten to copy and lost all.

a belated sorry - at least ur safe and warm in your house tho' - a lot of people have lost their jobs and/or homes (just trying to look on the....er...bright side?) this has happened 2 me a few times and while it is upsetting I try 2 keep in mind that something might go wrong while i'm trying 2 post, and hope that it won't b 2 irritating if suddenly everything 'disappears'
