A week from Tuesday is my due date to have little baby Malachi. Everything is going smoothly at this point. I am more tired and unmotivated and my feet and ankles tend to get swollen by the end of the day. For the most part though this has been a farely smooth pregnancy. The Lord has really blessed in it! The hardest part is coming now and anxiousness and fear is begining to set in. I just have to give it to the Lord and He will give me strength I know. He has always been there for me, I must rely on Him. I thank Him so much for the husband and family He has given me. They are all very supportive and helpful! I am going to try to do everything naturally (no epidural). I have no strong convictions about this, but I rather stay clear of some of the side effects of the epidurals. My husband is a great support in this and is preparing to coach me along. He is so encouraging and very excited! We are both very excited along with the rest of the family. Malachi will be the first grandchild on each side, so it is a new and exciteing experience for us all! I will write again once I am holding my little one in my arms!

Ask for some back massages during labor and some ice packs too. Those will help a lot. And warm wet washclothes between the ice and massage. Some say walking helps but it didn't for me- I wanted to just lie down and rest.
Thanks for posting to babybook.. be sure to let us know how baby is doing!
