Adventures in Babysitting

I started babysitting my ex's kids on Saturday (actually Friday night, but he left Saturday morning).  We had to go to the airport so we could see my boyfriend's first solo flight.  It was a very small airport with really no waiting area, so the kids were getting very hot.  Plus their father decided to give his son new allergy medicine that I know keeps me up at night the night before, then decided to wake them up before he left.  Of course they didn't go back to sleep.  His son was tired, so he was getting cranky and giving me an attitude.  They did have fun, but we were all exhausted when we finally got home from Orlando at 10:30 at night.  On the way back I knew they had to be asleep because I didn't hear a peep from the backseat.  We stayed at their house most of Sunday, then came to my house to sleep because we were going to Sea World in the morning.  We just got back from Sea World.  I think they will sleep well tonight.  Tomorrow we will go back to their house.  His daughter told me that she thought she would miss him more than she does.  He has never left them with anyone for more than one night, so I think it is good for them to be away for a few days.  He will be back sometime on Thursday.
