Smartmoney.com is a great resource for finding good deals on consumer goods. Thursday seems to be quite a profitable day in terms of finding the best deals on books and clothes but other days of the week are great for saving money on plane tickets, cars, department store items and more.

The best day to save on

Cars: Monday
Plane Tickets: Wednesday morning
Books: Thursday
Clothes: Thursday evening
Department Store items: Saturday evening

Thanks for the link. I tend to shop on Thursdays for groceries already(and recently, it seems like every other day as well), b/c thats when we get our circulars for the stores.
