My wife and I rented The Air I Breathe because it stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and we are both fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It also stars Brendan Fraser, Forest Whitaker, and Kevin Bacon. It just looked like it would be a good movie, though we wondered how that many big name stars could make a movie and it go direct to DVD. It turns out this yet another one of those movies where it's four individual stories that are all tied together, but what holds them together is a big mess. Trust me when I tell you that this movie is not worth your time. It had potential, and Brendan Fraser was awesome in it, but the rest of it hinges on some really obvious oversights that kill the whole thing.
