I bought some pink yarn today at Walmart to make a baby blanket. I have been reading The Friday Night Knitting Club and it put me in the mood to want to knit. I don't want to make anything heavy because it's too hot.

Here Comes The Judge!
My brother got an appointment to be a judge. I am not going to share the details to protect his privacy. I haven't asked his permission about sharing the news publicly on a website. This was his third try over the last 5 years and he finally got one! The first time he made it to the final three being interviewed by the Govenor of his state, but didn't get it. The second time they told him he would get the next appointment that came up and he did! My sister-in-law is teaching in Oxford, England this summer and their whole family is there right now. They have both worked really hard to get where they are today and I am happy for them both.
