It has been so hot and humid here in Michigan we needed something cold and yummy. This is fairly easy to make and very good.
1pkg strawberry jello
3/4 Cup boiling water
2 egg whites, whipped
3/4 Cups light corn syrup
2 Cups strawberries, purreed (can use fresh or frozen)
Dissolve jello in boiling water, stir in purreed fruit & corn syrup. Beat in eggwhites with a wisk. Pour into 13x9 glass dish and freeze for 2 hrs. Scoop 1/2 into blender at a time and blend until smooth but not melted, pour into container and freeze for 6hrs to overnight.

I use only the egg whites (no need to pre-whip), whole, frozen, fresh strawberies and a bit of sugar (not corn syrup)
I add a touch of lemon juice to mine....just about 1/4 teaspoon.
It all whips up and froths very nicely in the blender or food processor.
Just let the processor or blender run until the fruit and eggs whip up by themselves. The volume will increase by about triple the amount. You can serve immediately or freeze for later.....but actually there is no need to freeze for hours.
i just brought a large amount of peaches and think i will try it with this one
Great recipe :) I know the kids would love making this both ways yours and sonias :)
