I found some firework photos from the 4th that I never posted (and some that I have) and decided to do an article while it was still July.
(Translation: I'm avoiding working on my menus for August, September and October and a zillion other things I should be doing.)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the festive mood (Since I'm not currently in one, I'm trying to create one artificially...) of my fireworks display!
These were all taken in Austin, Minnesota on the evening of the 4th.
I used our Canon Power Shot A-85.
The weird effects are a function of the laws of nature and my inexpertise.
I shamelessly adjusted the contrast and intensity on each one, mostly to clean up the excessive smoke, and on a few, the hues.
Hurray, hurray, USA!
