Three New Ukiahs

owl ukiah

an owl on a silent flight,

night becomes a hunt,

where bird or prey must survive

war ukiah

war becomes ghastly hatred,

our warriors

die in vain without glory

our fears ukiah

our fears are forced on us,

giving us nightmares,

justifying this killing

OH MY, Dog. . .I bow. Wow. Reverse Haiku and I never knew it had a name. "Ukiah", wrote it down. 7-5-7. Each word packed with meaning to be turned and mirrored and savoured. Excellent work and you gave away two. . .thank you, sir.
