by how it started before I even arrived.
I was semi-smart and jotted down notes over the summer about things I wanted to write about here. I didn't realize I was going to get so far behind, but had a few minutes and was glancing back through them just now. My very first note was "deodorant."
So I drove 10 hours my first day on the road and then stopped at a hotel. I stayed up a bit too late talking to people online and had to get up in the morning to keep driving. I pushed the alarm a few times more than I should've and was dragging to get around. All I had to do was toss on some clothes, turn in my key, and hit the road.
I put on some comfy jeans and a tank top, grabbed my deodorant in a rush, swiped, and ouch!! Again, I was semi-smart and had bought a few extra things of deodorant. What I didn't anticipate was that I'd tossed a new one into my overnight bag. When I swiped out of instinct, I had failed to remove the little plastic piece they stick inside new containers. It left a huge red mark on my underarm and I was sore for a couple days there.
On the plus side, though, it definitely woke me up!

I understand why they put those little things there, but they sure can be a pain (literally)...
I've done that once or twice before.
I've done stuff like that before.
I'll admit I have done that a few times also.
