It really varies since I work full time. On a work day, I am logged in for 3 or 4 hours after I get home at night, but I am also multi tasking...watching recorded tv, talking to my dh, etc. On days off it varies, but could be several hours off and on.

It depends on the day for me. Somedays a few hours total and some days I barely have a chance to be on at all.

I spend too much time on Gather whatever the amount may be...several hours, at least. I have lots of time on my hands, so I guess it really doesn't matter. At least it gives me something to do. I just wish I had more to write about, but you can't cover too many things when you have no life like I do. I figured the ratio out and I make about 50 cents an hour for being here. (I make around $3.50 an hour for the time I spend on Boomertowne...a little over half an hour a day.)

I start very early in the morning 4-5am with emails, then news sites, and then on to Gather. Not working anymore, I bet it is similar to you. It may vary by day, but it is a bit too much any day.
I rarely get/stay on past noon though, and extremely rare in the evening.... by then the family has taken over the PC, LOL.

I have it set to email me when friends publish something so whenever an email comes through during my day off I come back and view it and then go back to whatever I was doing until another one comes along :)

well, I am usually here in and out the entire time I sit at the computer, which is as much as I can. I always have 5 other windows of things going at the same time and bounce back and forth, but once I hit this window I tend to get stuck.
