Opening day was good one. Many people came out to see the vintage stock cars. Waterloo had a racetrack from 1953 until 1975. A few reunion races have been held but no real racing. But a group called the Midstate Vintage Stock Car club brought "racing" back to the fair this year. Many of the original drivers were on hand for this event, along with their cars. They didn't actually race but they did go around the track a few times. It brought back lots of memories. The day ended with a fireworks display. I hope you enjoy my pictures. Here is me and my best friend Penny, waiting for the show to begin.

Here is the water truck wetting down the track.

Its hard to see but this is a picture of some of the drivers during an award ceremony.

This is the pace car. LOL

All lined up and ready to race.

These pictures are of the cars.

This one had to be pushed. LOL
