Journal Entry #2
Second day post-shipwreck.
I seem to have been the only survivor. I've searched most of the island, but haven't found other people alive. There seem to be plenty of coconuts, and there are some wild animals. Between those and the fish I should be able to survive for a while. I have no hope of immediate rescue because the storm blew us so far off course. I still have not made shelter for myself, anything to fish with, or fire. I never was very good at this survival stuff. Oh well. After all, tomorrow is another day.

Every day is a new day.
i agree with what's been said (above): i've always liked the journal format, too. i think i got hooked with Bram Stoker...-either way, you get a "10" on those grounds alone.
good stuff.
I love the journal style and I love that it's from the point of view of a survivor.
This could be a series of short stories based on this wreck.
What do you think?
:O)

This was really nice. I have to tell you, though, that while I was reading it, all I could think was, "This is the diary of one of the survivors on 'Lost'!"
Congratulations Sarah on really good work !!!
