To Bring A Smile...Watch these Videos!

My son is not feeling well since last few days. Runny nose, red eyes, cough and fever. Today, he was at home and promised me that he 's not going to watch cartoons, no playing DS, no video games and no jumping in the house.

 Really, a kind of  punishment for any Kid.

He was sad. So, I found three videos from the youtube and showed to him, just to bring smile on his face... and I was successful...

After watching these I felt that 'Most smiles are started by another smile'

When my daughter was sick I always made her tomato soup and toasted cheese.

The third one was my favorite. It sure didn't take much to get that baby to laugh. My husband came in here and started laughing too. That was sweet as well as funny.

When our daughters were sick, I always waited on them hand and foot. They loved that and I would make them homemade Chicken Noodle soup.

I usually just act silly and try to tell funny stories. Just think how much energy I could have saved when my kids were small if there had been this!

I hope Vatsalya feels better soon, Bhawana. I don´t have children, but I often read the kids I teach in first and second grade (when I´m in the States, here I teach all grades in Spain!) an inspiring or funny Big Book story if a couple of them have been fighting or if the entire group seems disappointed about something they can´t do or bored. This usually puts a smile on their faces!

Hi Bhawana. I think these videos made Vatsalya feel a little better for sure. Laughter is the best medicine they say. I hope by now he is back to normal. The summer is no time to be sick.

My Momma always made me Potatoe soup and crackers, I still love it when ill.
I hope you son is feeling better. Not running and playing is not fun. But will make him feel better if he just lays around and rest.

Sure hope Vatsalya is feeling much better, -- being sick and having fever is certainly no fun!

To bring a smile to my twin niece and nephew's face (age 19), -- I just go to my wallet and pull out 'green' or my credit card....I can always count on there being smiles on their faces!

Ihope your little boy is feeling better by now, I like the tomato soup and toasted cheese idea, still like to eat that combination, but chicken noodle soup is supposed to help that kind of thing too, I think you are sweet and a good mommy to watch cartoons with him, I never could do that, I don't know why, I am not a cartoon person, my husband loved them though, so our kids got their share, sick or not. Bless you Bhawana and take care of that little guy.

Oh, I'm sorry you have a sick one. I loved the first and third videos. Charlie wasn't the prettiest baby in the second one, but I loved his big brother's accent.
