This is a houseplant that I don't know the name of, but when outside for the summer it blooms these little lacy white flowers that smell bitter. Does anyone know the name of this one?

My daughter took this photo of some toadstools on my camera, so I am claiming it. When there are toadstools in your yard, there are usually Gnomes nearby.

This is the Marianne R. hibiscus. It's doing well and has new blooms nearly every day.

The Sue* hibiscus was beaten up badly by a hailstorm in May. I wasn't sure it would live. Not only did it live, but it's recovering its leaves and beginning to have beautiful blooms.

The salvia and marigolds in the flower cart loved all that rain. This week they'll be getting their water from the hose, as no rain is in the forecast.

I bought a Rose of Sharon bush this year because my BFF's name is Sharon, and weirdly enough, in every house she has moved into has had a Rose of Sharon bush on the property. This little baby is only about 18 inches tall, but just blooming her heart out.

This is a new plant for me this year, but I want several next year. It's a Mandevilla and will vine across anything it can. I love the tropical looking blooms.

This is my friend Sharon's river camp. She has a camper she parks there every season. Every Wednesday night she serves dinner at 6 and I have a standing invitation.

Sharon cooking in her cute little camper kitchen. It has everything!

My Godson, Carson, playing "got your hat" with his nephew, Drew, in the camper.

Andrea, Drew and Carson take the boat for a spin on the pond.

Another being taking a spin around the pond.

Is it just me, or is summer going by awfully fast?

Thanks for sharing.
Janet - Thanks for the kind words and the feature.
Summer is absolutely FLYING by! I'm trying desperately to stop thinking of the end of August as the end of summer. I don't live by the school year anymore, and the mild weather and flowers lasts well into October around here.
We have time. We have time.
The foliage of your houseplant looks like "Creeping Charlie" but the blooms certainly aren't... The foliage also bears a resemblance to different types of "Glechoma" or "Ground Ivy" that I've seen... Again, though, the flowers don't match...
Jean - I'll google those plants and see what I come up with. I've got a friend with a greenhouse, maybe next time she's over here she'll hazard a guess. The flowers are very delicate and lacy, but smell like feet.
love your pictures though ...especially the frog
Marianne - Nooo - the first hibiscus pic is Marianne R. Yours didn't get pelted as badly by the hail as Sue*. Your namesake is fine and luscious.
Great photo essay, Vicky!
Robin - Thanks for stopping by.
Lainie - I'm counting down - 7 years to go, then we'll be heading south about the end of October and coming back about the middle of April. No more winter!

Great shots of lovely flowers but the toadstools grabbed my attention... the one on the right looks Dali-like... melty. Is it it just me or did you actually make your photos appear like postcards? The colorings promote that feel--- the hibiscus have that faded looking background while Drew and Carson look like kids of long ago,
