I am on my way to join now.
This sounds neat and I can't wait to see some of the entrees.
I'll have to see if I can come up with a recipe- I don't generally eat a breakfast that works well with dairy, you know?

Leigh, there is no homepage anymore, Gather did away with it. I haven't had any problems this morning with publishing although it is now called "share" and "post."

All you do is put a little oil in a fry pan, slice green peppers, cut potatoes into same size strips as the peppers, when that is tender, pour a few beaten eggs in the pan, cover, till eggs are done, mix it up and eat! Its simple and i like it for any meal too!
P.S.S. I'm intrigued by the "feed style" design of the group's home page. Nicely done.
I just joined.
Can you please fix the problem so that we all have a chance to join?
Dairy is so ***not*** unhealthy!!!!! It is *essential* to good health!!! Vegan is what is unhealthy! We need protein! We are designed to eat meat--witness our teeth.
Thanks,
Stefanie
Take your favorite yogurt.
Scoop it out into a bowl or large coffee mug.
Next I add Uncle sam flax seed cereal. About a half cup. Its cheap and good for you. A box costs around $1.78!
Mix it together and enjoy! Its sooooo good, and good for you too!
1 cup fresh cut up fruit- banana, peaches, strawberries- whatever you like!
1 cup milk
2 cups of vanilla or flavor-matching yogurt
Blend in the blender, and drink- refrigerate the left overs! This is great for a breakfast, but also great as a night time snack!

Strawberry/Blueberry smoothies:
1 container low fat blueberry yogurt
1 c milk
3 ice cubes
1/2 c fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 c fresh or frozen strawberries
1 T wheat germ
Combine in a blender until mostly smooth - you want some fruit chunks so don't completely pulverize it. :) Pour in a glass and enjoy.
1 carton of skim milk
bowl of granola
oat grain french toast
lite syrup and a pat of margarine
fresh mixed fruit cup
Thanks for the email or I would not have noticed that.
I am on medicine to help me gain weight so every morning I have been going to McDonalds for a Chocolate Milkshake. Then I come home and have cinnimon toast and oj. Before I was on the medicine I would not eat breakfast at all.
Quick, easy, good dairy breakfast.
1 C fresh strawberries
1 C ice
1 C milk or orange juice
1/4 tsp Vanilla
Add protein powder if desired
Blend
I have this yogurt usually with fresh berries and splenda. Sometimes topped with a granola for the crunch. Makes a great breakfast. :)
This is a nice way to get protein and the nutrition you need from dairy.
Also you can eat your favorite yogurt too.
Put on whatever toppings you like, then bake it.
dinner will be boil vegetable and bake chicken .
Halwa:
1 cup semolina
5 Tea Spoon Splenda
1.5 cup water
1 cup low fat milk
1 tablespoon lowfat butter (heart foundation recommended) or canola oil
grated Almonds and Raisins
1-2 Cardamom, coarsely powdered
Preparation
Add sugar to water and mix well. Keep aside.
In a skillet take 1/2 of your butter and semolina and cook for 5 minutes. Add oil/butter and cook for 20 minutes on medium heat, till the semolina turns light brown. With the skillet on the gas, add cardamom powder and raisins, grated almonds, then add milk, water and splenda slowly, stirring with a spoon and allow the water to evaporate (it would take about 5-7 minute).
Garnish with a few grated almond pieces.
Its heavy, testy and good for your health.
Thanks for your recipe. In order to be considered for the cookbook, please share each recipe as an individual post in the group. Looking forward to your entry!
Thank you.
