How much does Paypal charge you to receive your gather funds?  I have a Paypal business account that I used to use to receive money from E-bay sales. I haven't used the Paypal account much in the past several months, but it is still active. I am just wondering how much it will cost me to receive my Gather money and how long it will take.

i usually recieve it in as little as 24hrs no more than 72 hrs:)

it's a percentage of the total, I can't remember how much the % is though... I cashed out for 171.00 and they took 5.26. A lot of people don't want them to take the fees out so they get checks, to me it's worth the fees to get the money quick. But i kinda wish it wasn't a business account, so they wouldn't take fees.. :O)

By the time I finally got on the cash rewards I had $200 in my account and Paypal took $6 of it.

I cashed out this morning and requested it to go to paypal....so I will find out soon how much it costs.

Sorry, my brain is a little fuzzy this morning....

I set up a PayPal account, but I haven't had the good fortune to cash out on any of my projects. I set up the account, because it was required by some of the things I've gotten myself into.

The money arrived in my Paypal account this evening. Since I have a business account because of ebay, they did take a fee out.

I thought I responded to this the other day, but I guess not. If you have a business account, they will take a percentage out as other people have mentioned. If you just have a regular account, they do not take out any fees.

you only get fees if you have a PAYPAL BUSINESS ACCOUNT (which I do)

Here's the fee schedule for a business account from Paypal's website:

Monthly sales Price per transaction
$0.00 USD - $3,000.00 USD 2.9% + $0.30 USD
$3,000.01 USD - $10,000.00 USD 2.5% + $0.30 USD
$10,000.01 USD - $100,000.00 USD 2.2% + $0.30 USD
> $100,000.00 USD 1.9% + $0.30 USD

I gave up on the cash option ages ago and so got used to the gc's. I don't trust Paypal -- I've heard of too many people having their accounts hacked into. And why pay a fee when I worked hard for those points/money to accumulate? Anyway, that old cash "option" is being phased out by Gather shortly, as per the Help/TOS.
