It was tremendous to see so many Ron Paul supporters and lovers of Liberty celebrating together at the Revolution March & Rally today in DC. I talked to a lot of people, some who came from as far away as California, Texas, Florida and Washington (State!). It was a happy, lively, laid back day of celebration and interaction. I'm not real good at estimating crowd sizes, but I'd say there were at least 8 - 10,000 people there total. From my vantage point in the march, there were people stretching off into in both directions as far as the eye could see! And boy was it hot! Tom Woods gave a rousing speech . A lot of people spent the afternoon hanging out under the trees on the mall, but everyone came pouring out from the shade when Dr. Paul stepped up to speak. We'll hopefully have the videos up shortly.
It was great to be there and just soak it all in. I look forward to seeing you all again soon in Minneapolis, where there is an even bigger lineup planned! Many thanks to jlilyea for the excellent photos.
The Revolution March - Live CoverageJuly 12th, 2008 by Michael Nystrom
Last night was just like Tom said - A magical evening, seeing Dr. Paul walk down the humid, bustling streets of Georgetown, filled with party revelers. The crowd was abuzz as we made our way through: "Hey, that guy looks just like Ron Paul!", "I think that was Ron Paul!", "It is! It's Ron Paul!"
Yes, it absolutely was Ron Paul, kind, humble and patient as ever, stopping to chat, take pictures and answer a few foreign policy questions to boot. If you're bummed that you didn't make it out here to DC for the Revolution March and rally, the good news is that Revolution Broadcasting is carrying live coverage of the event all day. And if you haven't done so already, I suggest you start making your plans for the Rally for the Republic in Minnesota on September 1-2. That is really going to be a big one.

Ron Paul, Man of the PeopleJuly 12th, 2008 by Thomas Woods
Catherine is right. Promotional materials for the March, and good Ron Paul folks, are everywhere here in D.C.
And tonight, a wonderful moment: Ron Paul allowed himself to be talked into making a surprise appearance at a pre-March party at Mr. Smith's of Georgetown. Everyone went berserk, of course. And as he entered and exited, people on the street mobbed him, thanking him, asking him questions, getting autographs, and so on. What fun! (I saw people with videocameras as he gave an impromptu speech inside; if any wind up on YouTube, please post the links here.)

The Revolution has arrived in DCJuly 11th, 2008 by CatherineBleish
Today has been phenomenal - the city is plastered in Revolution March banners, posters and fliers, everywhere you look you see a Revolution T-Shirt, everyone you meet on the street is excited to come to the march! We never could have imagined the energy would be so intense!
This morning and afternoon have been full of one exiting event after the other. We lobbied our Congressmen for support on HCR 40. We approached 10 Congressmen and Senators from each of our home districts.
We received a very encouraging response from the office of Ohio State Rep. Dennis Kucinich and Washington State Rep Brian Baird.
Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl's legislative assistant sat down and had a 30 minute conversation with our team. They were open and receptive and very informative and we encourage his constituents to contact him regarding his support of this legislation. His office reiterated the importance of communicating with your elected representatives.
The protest at the Federal Reserver Building was just as exciting! Our fabulous Treasurer, Deb, covered herself in monopoly money and the attendance was estimated around 60!! The local press even made it out!
We also had a very successful marshal and medic training. Fully staffed and fully trained we are now prepared to handle any situation that may arise.
For those of you that can't make it to DC, don't worry! Live coverage of the march will be provided byhttp://www.revolutionbroadcasting.com/ . Bummed you can't see your favorite speaker in person? Tune in to hear their speech live!
Please contact your meetups and anyone else that can't be in DC and let them know we will cover the event for them.http://www.revolutionbroadcasting.com/

Dave I too feared for his life. I think we had a conversation about that a while back didn't we?
I hope the internet continues to grow to the point that we can throw these news sources to the side, as the truth comes out DESPITE them instead of THROUGH them.
Go Ron Paul!!
He scares them because he speaks the truth and they are scared of truth.
Given a fair shake Ron Paul would have been our next President.
