Practically Posh~The Smart Girls' Guide to a Glam Life~A Book Review

Is there a girl out there who does not wish to live "The Glam Life", and even better yet, to do it on a budget?, I'm thinking the answer is probably very few.  I know for a fact that I am not one of them.  Count me with the ones that want the best life has to offer, but I want to do it while having fun and spending the least amount of time and money. When I heard about it, I could hardly wait to get my hands on a copy of Robyn Moreno's new book, PRACTICALLY POSH (The Smart Girls' Guide to a Glam Life).  Once I got it,  I devoured it in one sitting.  That actually turned out to be a good move, since soon after I was through with it, the book disappeared, only to turn up in my (almost nineteen year old) daughter's "Things I'm taking with me back to college in the Fall" Items. It seems that she read it and enjoyed it as much as I did, and now my book was hers.

I found PRACTICALLY POSH  to be full of super practical information, references and ideas that every girl (young and okay, not so young) can utilize.  If a book can qualify as a "Chick Bible", then this one is certainly it.  Robyn Moreno's natural knack for  presenting her work in an easy, flowing, as if talking to a girlfriend, style made this book lots of fun to read.  As a bonus, all of the  beautiful color photographs, many of the author herself, were a special treat.

Each chapter of PRACTICALLY POSH functions like a mini-guidebook on its own, covering every sort of a girl's lifestyle situation put them all together and you get a lot of great suggestions for living the "The Posh Life" on a song, or as I like to say for "Living In the Pink, not In the Red."

For me, PRACTICALLY POSH, could not have been released at a better time.  As we make plans for our daughter to move into her very first apartment this coming Fall, I know both she and I will make good use of this delightful book.  Thanks Robyn!
