Brad and Angelina welcome twins

Angelina Jolie gave birth to a boy and a girl Saturday night in Paris. Reports are that mother and babies are doing fine, and the twins each weighted about 5 lbs. She had a Caesarian, and Brad was present during the operation, which seems to me to say a lot about their relationship. How many men do you know who would be present during a Caesarian?

The babys were named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline (Marcheline after Jolie's mother.)

So this means the couple now have a 6 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old, and newborn twins. Thanks to the papparazzi, we know that they are both very hands-on parents, being seen all over the world with the kids in tow, but I still have to say that with 6 kids under 6, it's a very good thing they're rich enough to hire helpers.

Being smart enough not to deny their celebrity, Brad and Angelina have already arranged to sell the first picture of the new babies to one publication, and the money will all go to charity.

Well, they do seem to handle the attention, but it makes ME shudder to think of my children living in the public eye so clearly...uggg... *pennithoughts*

It's nice that the babies are healthy....I know a lot of men who have been in the room when their wives have a c-section - so I wouldn't give Brad too many props for that...that is where the father should be!!

It's good that they seem to be able to handle each others fame so well . how many celebrity marriages seem be nothing but publicity stunts .

I can. I think that's why I post about them. They are doing what I would like to do if I was rich and famous: raising kids, some of whom they adopted, traveling, and using their fame to raise awareness of a lot of important causes that they are also donating money to, and still being able to have great houses and lots of fun. Sounds just about perfect to me.
