The wedding was most enchanting. The bride in her "period dress" was most elegant and how the dress flowed it matched the freedom of the waves as they gently lapped the shore. The "Bubble Girls" were most adorable in their simple white dresses. And the vows, hand written by the couple, were most personal. But the big question of the evening was who invited the sand fleas to the wedding? As you scroll through the pictures watch for the reaction of the Bubble girls and the guests at the wedding.

Despite the wedding crashers, the wedding continued....the bride, the groom and the Minister said their parts without swatting any of the uninvited guests! The rest of us were very relieved when the ceremony was over and we could retire into the Hemisphere and have a good glass of wine. It was a wedding to remember...this wedding of the sand fleas!

I'm sorry, but I was here roaring with laugh tears running down my face.
Great character shots.
Thanks.
What ever are you talking about..."if you ever get married again"? You know, you could always renew your vows at the beach.
The fleas were horrendous! But for some reason or another, the bride, the groom nor the Minister flinched or swatted as everyone around was squirming in their pants! 'Course I was on the ground most of the time taking pictures so they were swarming all around me.
They are most romantic...maybe that's why sand fleas come...I have heard they are erotic souls!
I'm with you...it was funny...and everyone took the fleas in stride. The groom actually made several jokes about the whole affair.
I will pass your kind wishes off to the newlyweds next week....they left for Aruba this morn. The "bubble girls" were adorable.
Thanks Samantha for stopping by.
Smear Vegemite on the flea bites!
Charming wedding, loved that starfish bouquet - bow - flower arrangement. Turquoise and sand - lovely combination.
Thanks for letting us have a peek - I loved it!
Several years ago we went to a wedding of one of Aaron's friends. It was held in Brewster Gardens overlooking Plymouth Rock. Right in the middle of the ceremony the sky opened up. There was mud everywhere....the bride's gown was ruined....the service ended half way through and continued once we got to the Reception...bride in a regular dress.
A very romantic wedding...fleas and bubbles included.
