July 13th marks my second anniversary on Gather. My, how time flies when you're having fun posting photos, writing articles, sharing information and connecting with birds of a feather from all over the globe. 
To help celebrate, here are some of my latest photos from my garden. Please stop by and say hi!
Ever since Gather implemented the new system, I haven't been able to enlarge my photos in articles. When I click on one, a box pops up and says "Cannot be displayed because it contains errors." The ones I try to enlarge, once inside the article box are of poor quality. I'm still waiting to hear back from Gather support. Any clues, anyone?

i resize my photos in paintshop pro...how do you do yours?....for articles, i size them approx. 750 pixels x 650 pixels (the lower no. will vary)....
have enjoyed your postings and look forward to more....am currently dealing with a painful sciatica prob,so can't sit for more than a few minutes....thank goodness for pain killers! ;>

Try Firefox 3. I use it without any problems. Firefox 2 worked for photos, too. Just click them in the box below the article and wait for them to pop up. (Popups must be disabled) and then drag to the article.
Firefox 3 allows enables drag and drop of all links and photos. If you are on Gather or NYT or whatever, you can click a link or photo and drop it. With Fox 3 you don't have to copy/paste links. Just drag and drop.

Too bad that Gather keeps changing so many thing that instead of getting better, things don't work as well .....

Vivian, the files range from 200 to 1000.
I will be here 2 years in Sept... You were one of the first 5 or so friends that I made here when I first came to Gather... I feel very lucky to have been granted that particular privledge... You are one wonderful lady, my friend!

Your photo essay of your garden is lovely and I am somewhat of a Buddhist myself. Love to study Buddhist philosophy and read the Dalai Lama. As a matter of fact, I am reading one of his books now.
I hope the new years brings you more happiness at being here and I hope to be a better "friend." ;)
