Rub a little Vick's on his chest.
Keep him upright.
Give him lots of fluids.
Hold him and comfort him as much as he needs you to; this, too, shall pass.
Don't do that.
But a steamy Vic-sy room is helpful, especially if mom is holding baby and maybe reading a little story or playing some music.
If your son will drink soy milk this will help to reduce the mucus as well.
Yours sounds like mine, mine also has asthma. You might want to talk to your doc about some decongestion too. This way they can tell you a proper amount of your little guy.
