July 12th & 13th, 2008 Gather Prayer List

Thank you for the gift of today, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We pray all will be drawn to your love and know your peace. Thank you for all you are doing in our lives and for the strength to go on. Thank you for all the miracles you have done and for all the miracles you will do. We pray for all America and the world. Give us guidance in the election of our leaders. We pray for our troops and all the men and woman who are severely injured or disabled for life of all ages.  We pray for the crime victims, car accidents victims, and natural disasters. Help others give love, help, encourage and understand expectant ladies. Comfort the mothers who lose/lost  their children. Help heal all with heartache and those who seem to have no heart at all towards others. Help all the hurting who find it hard to trust or believe in you or anyone else. Help us all find your peace of mind. Help us to acceptance the things we can't change. Heal our mental and emotional scars from abuse. Help those who are abused to be helped/rescued. Guide parents to love, fed and cherish their children as the gifts they are. Give us the wisdom to see beyond the surface of a situation to the heart of the matter. Grant us the compassion for those who we are different from us. Lord. heal our bodies and meet all our needs. Guide all the unemployed and laid off workers to new and better opportunites. Help those who have succumb to the traps of this world and lost their focus on you. Break the binds of those enslaved  and addicted to others, bad behaviors or substances so they can lead the happier lives that you meant for them. Speak to the hearts of all  people who are now facing the wrong path so they avoid destruction that lies ahead. We are all your creatures Lord, give us your sight when we look at others, and help us see through to the heart and see past the outside that may turn us away. Help us help the downtrodden and the downfallen with your words and your wisdom. Please help the people who protect us, catch the criminals that are kidnapping and/or killing our children and our people. Guide them so they can prevent more kidnapping and deaths. Help us know the wonders of following you and the spiritual benefits we receive from you. Help us to keep walking by faith and not by sight. Thank you Lord for loving us and helping all these people named below that we lift up in prayer. Your will be done.

MOMMA P.Her daughter is facing surgery, soon. She has gallstones and a mass in her abdomen. The mass is indefinable. The radiologist can't say what it is, and is anxious to find out, as she has never seen anything like it. Her primary doctor said that he has never had a case like this, and probably never will again. The doctor's just know that it needs to come out. They will remove it and some of the surrounding tissue to test. We pray for Joel who is ill. We pray for those in Oklahoma where the tornados hit. James M.for his wife Katy to find a better job soon. He also asks for Marvin who now off the respirator, to be fully healed and drawn closer to God. Lora**(get healthy in 08) M. needs prayer for a cat scan on her lung tomorrow and for a good job so she can get the townhouse she wants to move to . Debby O.asks prayers for Nina R's recovery. Heather W.asks prayers for Paul who was robbed and for her Grandfather....For all those who have suffered in this country with all the flooding. For all those who have suffered in recent earthquakes in China and Japan. Please pray for Leigh M.   who is out of meds and feeling suicidal. For her daughter  to get the funds for tuition and books for college in August Rachaelfor her heartache over losing her twins vickey w her husband Scott that his knee will heal and he can avoid an operation, her daughter to get through school and find happiness and success, her brother to straighten up and fly right, and all her family members that need financial help.Roxanne H. her sister Angie, she has a rare form of Cancer called Urachel Cancer. She's had radiation and just started Chemo. She was also let go from her job on March 31st and she has insurance through the end of April. Pray she can find a way to continue treatment, any information on where to get help would be welcome. Karl Leubahas been recently diagnosed with cancer. Please pray for his defeating it and leave him comments of support. Carla P.  for her twin sister who has cancer and her parents Kitty L.  and her husband Jim. Jim has two lumps and concerns about prostrate cancer. Pray they don't find cancer. For John D who needs healing in his life  Kath M. for a baby girl in China named Katie and her parents. Katie has meningitis, encephalitis, pneumonia, and seizures. She was in a coma for a while and is now going in and out of one and all of this has resulted in severe brain damage. Janie E. for her friend, Rebecca, - an update on her condition -as of this writing, she has been released from the hospital. Pray for her friend Elizabeth, who lost her grandchild in the womb, and she has good news about her daughter, Natalie, who developed a bad reaction to her ADD medication and will have to have an EKG, and her heart is alright. Lisa B for  a crisis that is looming over her and her family. All these people all need healing and miracles Lord. Please touch their hearts and lives with your everlasting love. We also lift up in prayer all the children who are being born/adopted, for the birth and adopted parents also. Kathleen, her husband are having delays in getting their baby as are the other parents who are waiting. We pray the delays will be over soon. We pray for all the children waiting for a parent who are in orphanages around the world. We pray for all on Gather who are hurting right now. We pray for those struggling with all diseases and handicaps. Lord help people understand the plight of the elderly and handicapped. Please help all our veterans, whether they were permanently injured or suffer from the nightmare they lived through. Lead all to let them know their sacrifies were not in vain. Lord thank you for the blessings you have given us and your everlasting love in our lives. Please help us all through all our trials and tribulations and draw us closer to you. Guide us and help us today and every day. Your will be done. Help all who are stuggling in their lives, help us to learn to pray for our enemies and the people who hurt us to believe in you so they can stop the hurting that causes them to hurt others.  We ask that you touch the hearts of those involved and end the war! Please bring our troops home soon!

Lisa Frost I have received retirement disability from my employer, and will be recieving a steady income from that while I am still in limbo from Social Security. I have paid off many bills, but it is a little depressing to go through that much money in one week. My son has a car now, and we have caught up many bills.

Her bone marrow test showed her cancer to be in remission. Lora(better health for 2008) M. has fully recovered from her operation and is healed. Than you Lord for hearing our prayers for her! ]

Marsha S. says her daughter Susie's life is much better now she is seeing a great guy now, praise the Lord things are looking better!

Midnite Writer -- Kim has let us know her friend and family who was sick with bronchitis are recovering. Her other friend who had surgery is doing well, the surgery helped! She has no signs of  cancer, and a new direction for her life. We offer up a prayer of thanks as well as thanksgiving for this miracle!

Thank you who pray this list with me! I appreciate your help as I can not do this alone. Each one of you are my hero's and I pray for you to have an abundance of blessings in your lives! I thank those who take the time to comment, I know that not everyone who is praying with me has the time - what matters the most is the prayers! This is your list and I only maintain it. Without updates I feel uncomfortable with removing prayer requests. I realize my general prayer may seem long to others but I felt it needed to encompass as much as I could in it.

I hope you all have a wonderful day today and that your spirits be lifted each day with the hope and faith in our eternal life with Jesus. With making the time to pray you give others a wonderful gift...when sometimes they are unable to pray for themselves. This is called standing in the gap, thank you for standing in the gap!

Tomorrow I will be having esophageal endoscopy and a  colonoscopy in the am and I appreciate all prayers you can send my way. I have never had these proceedures before. Thank you!
