Over the years I have learned many way to be frugal. One thing that I do is to re-use ceral bags.
Once the cereal is gone, I cut the bag open and wipe off the crumbs. I then put them in the drawer with my bags and wraps.
I use them basically for 2 things, but you can use them virtually any way that you would use waxed paper. (something I haven't bought in years)
I cut them in to squares and use them in between hamburger patties that I put in the freezer.
I also use them a lot at holiday time to line my pans when making candy.
Thanks to Wilma D's comment, I am editing this. I do also use the bags when we make tuna casserole and meatloaf to crush the crackers. My mind wasn't all here (is it ever?) I also use the bags to freeze bread crumbs in to use later in casseroles, as toppings and to make croutons.
