Kinda Funny, But Extremely Irritating to Clean Up!

Earlier today I cleaned out the cats' litter box, and had my oldest son take the bag it was in out the the trashcans outside. I heard my youngest son in the kitchen giggling up a storm. I thought my oldest was at the screen door making faces at him, until I heard what sounded like sand hit the floor!!! Not only was my 2 year old son playing in the cat litter, he was sitting in the litter pan. Thank God it was completely clean. For any of you that have cats you know how hard it is to clean up kitty litter off the floor, and he had it EVERYWHERE! Thinking about it now I have to laugh, because it was kinda cute seeing him sitting there, but OMG was I irritated at the time. That was one heck of a mess to clean up! I probably should've taken a picture of it because it was just so funny seeing him sitting there happy as can be in that litter box.

And that is just fine. I have a girlfriend that has a 19 year old son, and two girls ages 7 and 4. And, I have noticed over the years that some of the things maybe he would of never done when he was their ages, he has persueded the girls to do. Of coarse nothing that could harm themselves or any one else. But, little pranks on Mom & Dad. One example: Mom & Dad do not allow any Christmas Presents to be opened until Christmas Morning, right? Well. the girls don't know that so, a week before Christmas Mom & Dad went out for the evening, (probably to do more shopping) they come home and all 3 of the kids are all asleep in the Family Room where the Tree & presents, "WERE" all wraped Beautifully under the Tree. The older son allowed the girls to open all of their presents thinking if he didn't open any of his, they would think he didn't notice until they were all done opening. But, when the girls get woken up, and seeing Mom & Daddy they both were all excited telling Mom & Dad as soon as they woke, "Brother said if we were good girls, he'd let us open all our presents. So, we were good girls mommy & daddy." Boy Brother was so dumbfounded when the girls said that, he just started fumbling his words and gave himself totally away. If was kind of cute, Mom & Dad could of killed the 3 of them, but come on now how could you? The Litter Box is really cute. I have 2 cats myself but no children. And I tell you what they are not to used to kids around here. My girlfriend brings her kids with her all the time and one of my cats I finally figured it out why he bats his Paw at the 3 of them. Not because they bother him either. I have other friends who visit. But, this friend is the only friend who comes over and usually takes me with her when they leave and he does not like any of them. So, he bats his paw at they actually trying to claw them, so I have to guard them when they come over now or immediately he trys. Her boyfriend comes over also alone sometimes to see me and my fiance. And he allows him to rub his belly. Why well because, he comes over and leaves with out me. And that is okay with him..... So, I would guess if any child tried to get near his Litter Box he might also get a little possessive about that also. And that would not be very amusing to say the least..
