Mass Emails(Do They Ever Stop?)

I am not the best about cleaning out any of my email boxs, including the gather one.

So if I don't clean it out everyday, I get over hundreds of emails a day. Which is fine I guess for some, but for the perfectionist in me, it isn't. In fact, it more less makes me NOT read there articles. And the more I clean out, the more I get. It's never ending.

I think my default picture(the one that says, "it's been lovely, but I now need to scream") suits that feeling pretty darn well.

And now a few of my questions for you:

Is there a way you can turn off mass emails on here?

Do you get sick of them?

i know the feeling!!! i have to remove myself from those groups b/c it gets to be more than i can handle!!!

I'm going to have to exit those groups too. It's gotten to the point where I get 6 of the same piece of mail because of them.

Yea I am debating if I want to leave a group that allows it members to send a mass email to all the members of the group.

Isn't that what mass email and broadcasting groups are for?

With the last "upgrade" my mail box got a lot lighter, but then people started to use groups to achieve the same thing. I left the groups that were filling my box. I may miss something that I would have liked to see, but chance are that I would have missed it anyway with all of those mass mails!

The only way to stop mass emails is to leave the group they are coming from. Or the block the person that is eending the,. Nine times out of ten you are already friends with the persona dn already seen teh content. So, block them. So, you don't recive the mass emails from them.
