Banshee Re-Issues Albums

All three of Banshee's albums are now available on CD. Cry In The Night, Race Against Time and Take 'em By Storm CDs are now available to order directly from the band. The band's music has been digitally re-mastered to bring you the clearest sound quality. These limited edition CDs all include new artwork and photos and have never been made available for sale anywhere before. These Re-Issues are on the band's own Snowblind Records label. Banshee, a melodic power metal band from the Midwest, was formed by Tommy Lee Flood and Terry Dunn in the 80's. This songwriting team led the band to make its mark on the metal era. Flood's lyrics and the inspired music of Dunn on guitar joined with Chuck Hopkins on bass and Kent Burnham on drums and they created what is known as Banshee.

'Cry In The Night' was the band's self-released EP in 1986. The album, 'Cry In The Night,' was later re-released by Metal Blade Records in 1988. The song, 'We Want You' from the album, was also released on the Metal Massacre 9 compilation, by Metal Blade.

'Race Against Time' was released by Atlantic's Titanium records in 1988. Bill Westfall replaced Chuck on bass just before this album. The popular 'Shoot Down The Night' video, from this album, aired for six months and reached the hard 30 ranking on MTV's Headbangers Ball.

'Take 'em By Storm,' their third album, came out in 1993 on their own Snowblind Records label and sold out quickly. The band went its separate ways soon after that, until now.

Over the past year, Banshee has reunited and plans to bring their music back to the fans. Banshee's albums are now available on iTunes, Amazon and their website; BansheeRocks.com

Tommy Lee Flood is a self described Oklahoma-born Air Force brat. Captivating, powerful, and emotionally charged are just a few of the words used to describe Tommy's voice. To hear him sing, is to hear one of the great vocal talents in music today. Flood is a true entertainer.

Kansas City guitar virtuoso, Terry Dunn, handles the role of lead guitar expertly for the band. Listening to Terry play his powerful guitar riffs will have you in awe and begging for more.

Tyson Leslie, will be filling Bill's position on bass guitar. Well known for his thundering bass, Tyson is constantly writing, recording and performing. He is often on stage five to six nights a week in the Kansas City area.

Kansas City drum legend, Kent Durnham completes the band with his memorable rhythms. He can be found playing frequently with multiple bands around the area.

Banshee is on the ticket for Rocklahoma 2008 in July. Tommy, Terry, Kent and Tyson look forward to sharing their music, once again, with the crowds at Rocklahoma. Be on the lookout for the scream of the Banshee!
