1. Pray - sometimes just telling someone how you are feeling can help. God is the best one to tell because he can actually lift your heart. He works from the inside out. Try praying to Him and rally releasing what is bothering you to Him. Nothing helps more then knowing you can share whatever is on your mind with a friend who won't tell anyone else what you said.
2. Breathe - when you get upset,worried or angry your breath gets really short. Sometimes you can forget to breathe for a few seconds! That's not good! Try doing some deep breathing when you feel like that. Just close your eyes. Breathye in through your nose and out through your mouth. Doing that 10 times ought to help alot. Afterwards,get the blood moving by touching your toes and staying down there for a count of 10. It's like rinsing your brain.
3. Forgive - nothing can steal your peace away like people - problems! The best thing to do to keep your own peace is to be wuick to forgive. Holding grudges,even little ones,is a sure shot to misery. Even if they're wrong,you'll feel better inside if YOU will be the better person and just forgive them. Jesus told us to remeber that God forgave us too! SO,LET IT GO! Forgive so that you can have some peace. You might have to go back and pray and breathe some more to be able to do this one,but it's worth a try.
4. Just simply bite your tongue literally bite it,not hard enough to draw blood but just hard enough to keep your mouth shut.
5. Think before you speak and act.
