A cocky young civilian inspector stopped in front of the storage facility where The Old Gunny was briefing a detail of young Marines.
He interrupted The Old Gunny in mid-sentence, saying, "I need to inspect inside that shed for possible excess property and unauthorized equipment."
The Old Gunny excused himself to the Marines, and said, "Okay, but don't go up into the loft area."
The inspector pulled out his wallet and flashed a laminated ID card "See this card? I have the authority of the Federal Government to go wherever I wish and to look wherever I deem necessary to carry out my responsibilities."
The Old Gunny shrugged, said "Suit yourself," and continued briefing the young Marines.
A few moments later, they heard loud screams and crashing coming from the shed, and saw the civilian employee tumbling out of the bulding, and close behind was a huge cloud of hornets, gaining in size at every step!!
The Old Gunny called out, "Show them that card!!"
