Family Olympics at Camp--photo essay

Usually at family camp we have a scavenger hunt. This year they chose to have a family olympics. Each family was paired with another family (minus the family with 13 children hehe). it was really nice being paired with the other family. Had we not been teamed up we probably would have not said much more to each other than hello in passing.
I'm including pictures of most of the activities we did during the week.

Last day was a relay race. Here you see Jasmine ready for her leg, to push the whellbarrow to the gym.

Heather is jumping in excitement to wait to be tagged to run across the bridge and back.

Heather is jumping off the bridge after coming back to tag the next person on our team.

Allen's part of the relay was to go across the monkey bars.

Allen is coming to tag Ariel. Her part was to go down the slide.

Heather is about dieing as she helps to pull in the chariot. Shay is waiting to get tagged to grab our flag. We ended up getting the bronze in this event.

Araya is just taking the whole relay race thing in while grandma (me) runs from place to place getting the pictures.

There were more events, but I hadn't learned yet to keep my camera with me at all times. It was a good time for all.
