HomeDepot Saves The Day

 Earlier this week Speedy - Support Veterans, wrote an article about Matt Keil, a veteran, who became a quadriplegic after being wounded in Iraq. It seems a home being built through the help of "Homes for our Troops" a non profit organization, was the target of some low life scum or scums and the tools being used in the contruction of the home were stolen, on all days, this past 4th Of July. The taking of power tools and other items bing used in the contruction, were causing a delay in the the project.

 Well, that is now over. It seems that Home Depot one of the sponsers of our Gather World stepped in to save the day. The company has donated power tools and other supplies in order for the project to continue. So I say thank you to Home Depot and their employees.

Kudos goes out to Home Depot. That is pathetic to steal those things for something that was for someone who lost pretty much everything for that scumbags freedom.

Small price for a company a big as Home Depot but lots of good publicity. In this case they deserve that publicity. I hope the scum that stole the original tools... well you can finish that.

Very cool! I'm glad they stepped but, provided they clearly have the capital to do so. I didn't see Wal-Mart running to help them.
