What do you have to do today? - July 8, 2008

This seemed to be popular yesterday, and it helped me clear my mind and see what I had to get done.

First - what I didn't get to yesterday

I did not buy any postcards but I did buy the book for Ed that I wanted to get him for Father's Day but they were out of it.
I did not start a packing and shopping list for our trip to the Cape.

What I have to do today

Do the dishes from dinner last night
Pack up snacks/lunch to take to the park today
Sort laundry
Wash laundry
Start the pulled pork in the slow cooker (I love the slow cooker on hot days)
Go to the park, play in sand and the water park and go on the train.
Make bread - it is horribly hot but I have to get it done
Order lotion from Burt's Bees
Right out a Bzzz report.
Fold laundry
Fix holes in the toes of Ed's socks

Shopping for the house and groceries, pick my daughter and then hide in the a/c, it's supposed to top 90 today.

Up since 5:30, I have filed a story for a Sunday newspaper, sent out two invoices forrecently published articles, have an appointment for a interveiw as part of a new story this morning. Add in all the usual .......laundry, dishes, drive kids and do the shopping. All this in 90 degree heat with 80 percent humidity.

2. cook for friends coming over
3. clean my room
4. study for my chem class tomorrow
5. hopefully have time to watch a new movie i bought!!
