A Trip Down the Tennessee River on a Chattanooga Duck

    We took a ride on a Chattanooga Duck today down the Tennessee River.  A duck(ducw) is an amphibious vehicle built and used first in WWII.  This is my children with their cousin J. in front of a "duck" .  They let all the kids "drive" that wanted to steer.  My son and daughter each took a turn, but my nephew didn't want to do it.  I took as many shots as I could take along the Tennesse River including a few of the Tennessee Aquarium and Hunter Museum of American Art.  The art museum is located on the bluff overlooking the river.  There were also some really nice houses along the river.  I took a few shots of the Southern Belle riverboat just for my friend Apryl just Apryl.  We had fun today and will probably go back when the weather isn't quite so hot!

Great Shots, Anne! I felt like I was there, Rob promised that one evening he will take me on the Dinner cruise. I used to ride the Ducks every summer in the Dells. I loved them.

wow these pics turned out awesome. Emma looks so pretty in her turquoise outfit. I love the picture of the Southern Belle and the triangular buildings. You did a great job taking pictures, a lot better than I would have, lol. Me and Mama took some a flower arrangement to Hilda's grave today, I took some photos of it that I will post for you tomorrow. I have just been so busy today grocery shopping at 2 different stores. I definitely want to talk to you tomorrow. So be sure and call me. Mama and the kids are going swimming after lunch and I should be able to talk without interruption bewteen 1-3 pm if you are available at that time. wuv, Angela

She is off again tomorrow, I don't have to do anything but ride and get another bag of ice from Sonic, after they get done swimming. We are trying to wean ourselves off Cokes so I bought a bunch of flavored water

Great pictures of Chatanooga! I've never been to Tennessee, but I've always wanted to go and my friends say the scenery is gorgeous.
