What do you have to do today? - July 7, 2008

What I have to do today is -

  1. Write a thank you note to my step-grandparents for their generous birthday check.
  2. Pack up one more gift picture CD to send off to relatives
  3. Start the crock-pot for dinner tonight (steak fajitas ... yum)
  4. Drive into town to go to the bank, the post office and shop for postcards
  5. Go to my parent's house to check on the vegetable garden and give my daughter a bath (we don't have a tub and being two she doesn't like showers)
  6. Come home and try to get her down for a nap
  7. Check on the fajitas
  8. Do laundry and start packing list and shopping list for our trip to the Cape on Friday
  9. Clean the bathroom
  10. Call my friend M to see if she and her daughter want to go to the park with me and my daughter tomorrow.
And all of this is in addition to the normal everyday stuff I have to get done

So what do you have to do today?

Tons of laundry & some Thank you notes for the baby shower gifts I've received for Jacob. I also have to get my wedding ring checked out and check out some new houses as we're planning to move at the end of the month.

I have to read 12 chapters of schoolwork. Go to Walmart and get ink for my printer. Do some laundry. Put away more things from my move. Do my homework.

We got up at 5:30 to work on BBQ, restoring it w/ paint and staining and varnishing the wood. Then we got to work on the truck, restoring it too, straightening the bed today then a coat of primer in and out. Then come in at 3 oclock or so and crash on the bed. It's 2 pm and it's already 106. I think I'll come in early.
