Yesterday I was online when I saw a disney banner for 69 a night for a value resort. Now I already have reservations for 82 dollars a night. So I figured ...what the heck call anyway. The girl was really nice and asked for my confirmation number and if I had a code from the banner....I gave her my confirmation number but told her I had no codes...it was just one of their banners and my computer wasn't letting me in(freezing).
She laughed at that and told me she would be checking for the deals. She finds it. But the dates are the 20th of august.....so she says hang on....and she finds one that is close to my dates.
I was like ...oh yeah.... so I switched my dates and even gained a day..and I am figuring..it will only cost me an additional 10 dollars for this change. Well was surprised when she tells me it is now 400.02 for the stay, I had already paid 463! So not only did I gain a night...I got back 63 dollars.
Still in my head the math wasn't adding, but hey I ain't questioning this one! So when my new confirmation email comes...I see that she found me a even better deal per night....only 59 dollars!
That's how I got it for that price....my hotel room went from 82 to 59. Talk about excited! Of course we had to switch value resorts...which is fine by me!!
Now to the wierd part, I had booked 8/18- 23 at a super 8. I went to cancel and there was no reservation on file. If I hadn't played with this Disney stay I would have had no hotel on the 18th??? Now I am not sure what the heck happened to the reservation....but it all is working out better.
Disney here we come in a month....technically one month from now the car will be loaded and we will be ready to head out the door...after the last of the set of injections!
