While out yesterday I noticed a lot of folks wearing socks and sandals. Personally I wear sandals because I don't want to wear socks. Do you wear sock and sandals?
No socks for me, but I think if they are more comfortable wearing sandals with socks who am I to judge. It seems the guys around here do this a lot more than the women.
I wear birkies all the time -- sometimes with hose, sometimes socks, sometimes without. I spent the last week moving, and used socks during that time -- even the best sandals will give blisters (from chaffing) without some kind of buffer in heavy use situations.
Not in the summer but in the fall and winter when it is cold but not wet or snowy I wear sandals with socks. Well actually, since I have switched to Crocs I'd have to say I wear Crocs with socks!
I do not, think it looks kind of silly and I agree with the person who said that the point of wearing sandals is to not wear socks. My dad does it though and has explained it this way - sometimes he doesn't want his feet to be confined but he also doesn't want his toes to get cold. As a teenager I was embarrassed by it, now I just except it.
I love my Birkies! Sometimes I still want to wear them in the fall. So, yes, I do wear socks and sandals if it's cold. And I don't care what anyone thinks about it. They can laugh if they want. I'm sure they do something that I think is silly.
I never wear sandals, but when I used to, no I never used socks. It seems kinda odd. People wear sandals usually to be cool. Wouldn't socks be counter productive to staying cool?
actually, I have been known to wear socks with sandles ---- But I also have been know to wear a different sock on each foot. Who said your socks have to match???
NEVER sox with sandals. When I was a kid, you were considered a dork if you wore them together. A nerd. Just like a t-shirt under a button down shirt. Nerd!
I wear my sox in sneakers or shoes, my sandals are worn barefooted! The way it should be.
depends on the weather. the sandals are more comfortable for my feet, so I like to weat them. And if it's cold outside, I do wear socks with my sandals to keep my feet warmer.

but when it gets nice I wear them for store and driving rules....naturally a barefooted person.......
