When Robert and I went riding our quad up on the Mogollon Rim a couple of weeks ago we got pulled over and found out that it was against Arizona state law to ride two people on our quad. Bummer! There was a sticker on the bike that said not to ride two people but we just assumed it was a manufacturer's warning and we would take our own chances until we could afford a new bike.
Robert went down to the Arctic Cat dealer and found out that there was no way of making our bike legal to ride two people so we decided to get him his own bike. He got him a 2007 650 4X4 for about $2000 less than what we paid for my bike. Not too bad. He's pretty happy with his new toy.
I might be eating beans and rice for a few years but....Yay!!!! I get my baby all to myself!!!

I wonder what the laws are here in Jersey because my neighbor is constantly riding two people on his quad and has often offered it to my husband and I to take it for a spin. Hmm. Not that I'm going to say anything, but it just makes me curious.
If I had the money, I would love to have one of those models that sits two side by side up front, with a small pick-up like bed in the back. It would be perfect for our hunting and camping trips.... someday, LOL.
Have fun!!!!
