I went to see the Happening the other day and it freaked me out. Sure, I love horror flicks, so I had to see it, but when I did, the whole concept bothered me.
Sure, there was blood, and a guy that laid down in front of a ride on lawnmower, and other moments in the movie that bothered me. I know that my wife would never be able to watch the movie (she gets freaked out at the sight of blood), and even if my son was old enough to go see it, his imagination would get the best of him.
What scares me the most about the movie is if it actually happened, we would be screwed. If plants started to release toxins, we would have nowhere to go as they are everywhere.
Could it really happen? I don't know - but if it did, I don't know what the world would do.
