Doctor Who media attention pre finale

Well, apparently the British media is in a major uproar about the Doctor Who season finale. I won't go into details here, as in the USA is two or three weeks behind. But I've even heard the weathermen have gotten to the point where they said... "It's going to rain, perfect weather to stay at home and watch Doctor Who."

I say, the media attention there, might rival the "Who shot J.R." level... of course there isn't a off season cliff hanger to generate the buzz... and I'm kinda glad. I just hope this isn't going to be a "Jump the shark" event for the show.

I'm hoping it's just a plot line.... David Tennant is the best Dr Who - and I've watched them since the very first Doctor.

We are eagerly awaiting the final episode of season four.... but a bit apprehensive about having to wait so long for season five!

At least you get to see it in a few weeks. They're not broadcasting the latest season in Canada until this fall. And the second season of Torchwood seems to have disappeared altogether.
