I just really felt I wasn't ready for the 10k. I took Sam along in his stroller. I decorated the stroller with red, white & blue star garland and pinned our number to the front of it. There were multiple bands playing along the route, and Sam was singing baby babble most of the time.
We had a great time. There was a bit of a breeze, which helped, since the course had many hilly spots. There were a handful of other moms with strollers, and we kept pushing each other.
