Come let us shamelessly gather together on gather to promote, plug and otherwise market our talents/products/articles. You know you've done it and if you haven't you know you wanna. Think of this as a mutual alternative to the evil Scarlet S--spam.

I felt it was time for a change when I realized that in my two-year absence from Gather the group had moved away from its original purpose. That really was my fault for not being explicit about the rules. And so, it's time for a change.

This is the place to announce your new book, direct traffic to your blog, announce your appearance on The View, celebrate a poem accepted for publication, discuss your projects, and otherwise shamelessly self-promote your creative activities. Discussions about self-promotion are also welcome, as are self-promotion tips and info. With the current state of the publishing and art worlds, ALL writers/artists who are interested in succeeding have to take a hand in marketing and promotion.

It is NOT the spot to randomly publish new articles. Please adhere to this rule and we will all get along famously.
