The 4th of July holiday started in this neck of the woods two days ago! On Tuesday (2nd), the grandbaby got a hankerin' to do a bit of fishin'. After a desperate plea for help from our DIL, Kel we headed down the road a bit and met up with her and our grandson, BB.
After grabbin' a chile cheese dog, tator tots, corn dog and a few freshly squeezed limeades from Sonic we arrived at the fishin' hole to find one of the fishermen all tangled up.

Spiderman fishin'pole in hand BB gave us the "thumbs up".

Kel broke in her brand new redneck straw hat while waitin' for the big one!

Kel and Papa Mike waitin' and waitin' for Big Bubba to strike...no such luck.

Right before sunset we decided to pack'er up and head home. Better luck next time, BUT it sure was fun!

I won a biggest fish contest with a small pole like that in Panama. They can hold the weight.
Happy 4th and ty for sharing. Looks like a great day.

Blessings to you and yours...
